Summary of "The Invaders" Part 3 (ch.12-15)
The islanders begin to have bad relations with the soldiers and the other new comers because they begin to change things in island and this upset the life of the islanders and the islanders begin not to trust them. Tilda and some friends try to take a boat to the mainland to see what is happening there but because of the bad condition of the sea, their boat is push back to the island.
As the invaders begin changing more about the islands, they notice that there are some cracks on the volcano so the Brigadier asked for someone to came from the mainland to look at it. But no one comes to check the volcano. Instead, mainland just send more food and supplies.
People on the islands begin to get into group to go against to the soldiers because they don't like being given orders by the soldier to do jobs and everyday, they begin to trust the soldier less and less. At the same time, tension are growing on the mainland as people there do not like the dictator and messages are sent to the island that there may be a war on the mainland.
They get the messages from the mainland that all people including the soldiers and the islanders must be evacuate to potato beach because the dictator may went to take over the island. The next day, Brigadier hears that a big ship will come to collect all of the people but the islander and some of the soldiers don't want to leave. Also, the Brigadier hear that their will be three warships sent to the island.
